Area of Production: Vineyards situated on the hills of Casalbordino with exposure to the south.
Soil/Altitude: Medium mixture, mixed-argillaceous with an altitude of 150-200 m above sea level.
Viticulture: Espalier with a density of 3800 plants per hectare and a production in grapes of 120 quintal/ha .
Harvest: Second week in October, reaching full phenolic and technical maturity, by hand.
Vinification: Removal of grape stalks and contact of the skins with the must for 7-10 days steel tanks at a temperature of 18 to 28 °C, separation of the skins and transfer of the wine-must in steel tanks for the completion of the malo-lactic fermentation.
Ageing/Conservation
Maturation in steel tanks for 5-6 monthsand brief refinement in bottle before being placed on the market. Store in a cool place at a temperature of 8-10 °C.
Colour
Ruby red, brilliant and lively with violet hues.
Fragrance
Fruity with hints of sour black cherry and small mature red fruit.
Taste
Harmonic, supple, round, full-bodied and persistent.
