Variety: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 100%
Area of Production: Vineyards situated on the municipality of Casalbordino, between the hills facing the Adriatic Sea.
Soil-Altitude: Mixed – gravely soil, favorable exposure of vineyard on the hills at an altitude between 150 and 200 metres above sea level.
Culture: Espalier with a density of 3500-4000 plants per hectare. Sexual confusion fighting method for organic raising production. Production of 100 quintal with yield in wine of hl 80 per HA.
Harvest: Selection of the best grapes, in vineyards, picked by hand in the early hours of the day during the 10th to the 20th of October.
Vinification: Long maceration of pressed grapes, with repassing of must over the grape rinds and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel thermal conditioned containers.
Refined for 2-3 months in bottles before being placed on the market. Store in a dry and cool place.
Intense ruby red with light violet reflections.
Fruity, light and vinous.
Rich and harmonic taste, round and full-bodied.
Ideal with pasta, meat dishes and aged cheese.
Serve at a temperature of 18-20 °C.
