Grapes: Corvina Veronese 40%, Primitivo di Manduria 30%, Nero d’Avola di Sicilia 30%.

Vineyards: Owned selected vineyards (Tenuta Valleselle, Veneto e Tenuta Feudo Santa Croce, Puglia) and in co-operation with Vignali Roccamora, Sicilia. Hand selected grapes in October

Harvest: Best hand-selected grapes.

Vinification: Grapes are slightly dried then vinification is the traditional one for red wines: the must remains in contact with the skins for 8/15 days. It then goes into stainless steel tanks, where it completes its fermentation at controlled temperatures of 22°-26° C.

Characteristics

Colour: Deep, quite impenetrable red colour.
Bouquet: Red berry fruits with an intensive spice.
Flavour: Powerful and mellow.
Cellars Maturation: Maturation in Slavonia oak casks 5, 10, 20 hl for 18/24 months.

Food suggestions

Perfect with meats, roast and grilled, pot roast and important ripe cheese. Serving temperature 18/20°C in large glass; uncork a few hours before drinking.
